I have also purchased new studio equipment. I now own: 3 soft box lights, 3 umbrella lights. 1 flash w/flash stand. and 3 backdrops(black, white, and green).
Yes, that's right, a green backdrop! Now I am capable of doing green screen special effects for photos and videos. Of course I picked up a quality camera to handle this, the Canon Rebel T4i.
Of course, what would I do with all this without a beast of a computer to take on the work load. I took the time to research and choose the parts to put together a brand new computer.
Dual monitors
GTX660ti Video Card (if you don't know what it is, just know, IT'S AWESOME)
16GB of Ram
A 1TB hard drive with an additional external 1TB hard drive.
3rd Gen 3.4 GHz i7 intel processor
Of course I will always choose a Logitech wireless keyboard and mouse set.
And an always reliable Asus motherboard.
The rest of the features are pretty standard a DVD burner drive. Hopefully I will add a bluray burner drive. And of course, I feel my new case looks pretty slick and it is really rugged and durable. It needs to be for when I get mad and kick it. jk. I love my new machine.
On a side note I also recently picked up the Samsung Galaxy S4. I didn't expect to receive this phone but after a few mistakes due to U.S. Cellular and an unhappy customer(me) They decided I deserved this dream machine of a phone. I have fallen in love with this device.
With all this new equipment, the skills I have shown in the past are really flourishing. I also brought a few of my video ideas to life and started uploading to YouTube and those videos can be found at http://www.youtube.com/user/thomashuntjr.
