The Collision

Well I should look at it in a positive manner. I am off work for a week. What is the cost/price? One, my roommates front bumper and two, my back. Tis friday and I was in an automobile accident. An old lady decided to jay walk in a highly congested traffic area. Off all the brakes that slammed, and all the tires that screeched, those that eminated from the truck I was driving are the the ones that resulted in a collision. The afternoon of the collision, I visited my Doctor and had Xrays taken. The rest of the evening was filled with phone calls to determine which insurance company is taking care of what. As I suspected the insurance on the vehicle I was driving foots the bill. With this aside for a moment in time, I turn my focus to the events of the weekend, my housewarming. It was a fun get together of family and friends. We Barbecued and had fun. Sunday I spent the day in Oklahoma city visiting with those I hadnt visited since long past. monday arrives, I drive to the doctors offic to go over xrays. No suprise! Bones are out of place and there is serious muscle damage. Therefore I get a week off from work and must endure a week of treatment. It will be somewhat of a vacation. At least I will be able to rest, and I hear there is massaging involved in this treatment.

Bring on the Lake

Is it appropriate to look at a year start to end, January to December or should it be viewed as Fall to Summer. I have a tendency to view it Fall to summer and sometimes just Fall to Spring. When Summer hits it tends to feel like a transition between years. So it feels like the end of a year. Yet, until I have obtained my Bachelors degree the end of each year feels like a great relief. I do appreciate the things that have occured within each year, but when you work as much as I do and go to school, the summertime becomes a beaconing light of relief and relaxation. This summer I look forward to any side work that Genesee Photo provides for me. I eagerly anticipate the warmth that summer uses to warm the lakes so I may enjoy swimming and BBQ's at the lake. I hope to have a few parties here at my new home, at Cimarron Townhomes. No matter what happens, I wish to have fun before I return to class in fall.
